Child safety standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on PickleSphere.
Last updated 19 October 2026
Zero tolerance
i G Education Limited has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. It is never allowed on PickleSphere, in posts, stories, reels, comments, profiles, direct messages or Pickle Market listings. This includes:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated images and videos;
- any content that sexualises anyone under 18;
- grooming: building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them;
- sextortion: threatening to share intimate images of a young person, or pressuring them to send them;
- asking a child for sexual images, sexual conversation or to meet in person for sexual purposes;
- trafficking or selling children, or advertising sexual services involving children;
- sharing, requesting or linking to any of the above, even as a “joke”.
How to report it
- In the app, use the ⋯ menu on any post, comment, profile, message or listing and choose Report. Say that it involves a child so we can treat it as urgent.
- Email info@igeducationlimited.com with “Child safety” in the subject and a link to the content or the @handle. You don’t need an account to report.
- Block the account so it can’t contact you or see your content.
- Please don’t screenshot, save or forward abusive images of children, even to report them. Doing so can be a crime. Just tell us where the content is.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (999 in the UK, 911 in the US) first. You can also report child sexual abuse images directly to the Internet Watch Foundation (UK), the NCMEC CyberTipline (US) or CEOP (UK, for young people and parents worried about grooming).
What we do
- Reports that mention children, minors, grooming or exploitation go straight to the top of our moderation queue.
- We remove CSAE content as soon as we find it and permanently ban the accounts responsible.
- We keep the evidence securely and only for as long as needed for the investigation.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Internet Watch Foundation and the police, as the law requires.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made through proper legal channels.
How we protect young members
- Everyone must meet the minimum age for their country (13 or more), with a parent or guardian’s consent where their country requires it.
- Members under 18 start with a private account, so only followers they approve see their posts.
- Members under 18 only get direct messages from people they follow, and never get message requests from strangers.
- Members under 18 can’t be found through other people’s phone contacts, can’t share their data and can’t sell on the Pickle Market.
- Any member can block, mute and report anyone, and change who can message, follow or comment on them in Settings.
